Strengthening Your Story Before the Camera Rolls
A strong film begins with a strong script. At RangTarang Studios, our Script Review & Feedback service gives writers, directors, and producers an honest, detailed, and constructive assessment of their screenplay — covering every element that separates a compelling story from an unforgettable one.
Whether you're working on a Gujarati feature, a Hindi short film, or a web series, our experienced team reads your script through the lens of both craft and commerce — identifying what's working, what needs attention, and exactly how to make it stronger.

What's Included
Every screenplay we review gets our full attention — read carefully, assessed honestly, and fed back in a way that empowers the writer to make their best work even better.
Script Structure Analysis
A detailed review of your screenplay's overall architecture — three-act structure, story arc, scene sequencing, pacing, and narrative momentum. We identify structural weaknesses and suggest specific fixes that strengthen the foundation.
Character & Dialogue Review
We assess the depth, consistency, and authenticity of your characters — their motivations, arcs, and voice. Dialogue is reviewed for natural rhythm, subtext, and how well it serves both character and plot.
Genre & Market Assessment
We evaluate your script's commercial potential and genre fit — assessing how well it meets audience expectations, where it stands in the current Gujarati and Indian film market, and what positioning might maximise its impact.
Narrative Flow & Logic
We trace every plot thread for consistency, identify story gaps and logic issues, check emotional beats for authenticity, and ensure the narrative maintains grip and clarity from the first page to the last.
Written Feedback Report
A comprehensive written report covering all aspects of the review — structured by category, clearly reasoned, and prioritised so you know exactly what to address first. The report is detailed enough to act on immediately.
One-on-One Feedback Session
Following the written report, we hold a dedicated session with the writer or director to walk through the notes, answer questions, and provide verbal guidance — ensuring the feedback translates into concrete next steps.
How We Work
A clear, respectful, and thorough review process — designed to give your script the attention it deserves.
Submit your screenplay (PDF or FDX format) along with a brief note about the project — genre, intended audience, and any specific areas you'd like us to focus on.
Our reviewer reads the script in full without notes — experiencing it as an audience member first, to form an honest first impression before the analytical review begins.
A second, detailed read with structured notes covering structure, character, dialogue, genre fit, market potential, narrative logic, and overall execution.
We compile a comprehensive, clearly structured written report — categorised feedback with specific page references, reasoning, and actionable suggestions for each point raised.
A one-on-one session (video or in-person) to walk through the report, clarify any points, and discuss the best approach to revisions moving forward.
Why Work With Us
We review scripts the way good readers do — carefully, honestly, and with genuine respect for the work.
Our feedback is grounded in storytelling first. We assess your script as a piece of creative work before we look at commercial considerations — because a story that doesn't work emotionally won't work commercially either.
We understand what Gujarati and Indian film productions actually need — scripts that can be made within real budgets, appeal to real audiences, and work within the realities of the regional and national film landscape.
Our reviewers have direct experience with Gujarati cinema — its audience expectations, storytelling conventions, and the evolving landscape of regional content. This context shapes every review we deliver.
Every script we receive is treated with complete confidentiality. We understand that sharing an unfinished story requires trust, and we take that responsibility seriously in every interaction.

Yes. We offer a re-review service for scripts that have been revised following our initial feedback. The re-review focuses specifically on the changes made and whether the issues raised in the original report have been effectively addressed.
Scripts are reviewed by experienced members of our creative team — writers, directors, and story consultants with active experience in Gujarati and Indian film production. Every review is done by a human reader, not a software tool.
